It's September again, which means a new edition of Gibbon's popular video contest "Queen and King of Slackline 2012" is here!

What is it: The system is simple – each Monday a prorider shows a particular trick and you have one week to repeat it successfully and send a video (YouTube link) to contest@gibbon-slacklines.com. If you do that, you advance into the next round! Plus, author of the best video of each round wins a Gibbon T-shirt :)

Slackline Tricks Encyclopedia

Tricklining is one of the most popular forms of slacklining – there are dozens of stunts to perform and the only thing you need is a simple slackline kit, no expensive equipment.

And what's great on this activity is that it is still fairly new, so new interesting tricks with attractive names are born every day and you can even create your own! Aggro Line

Compared to other models:

  • For most people who want to start with tricklining, Trick Line would be perfect.
  • If you already have some experience with tricks and want to get the maximum out of them (or enjoy surfing and walking a longer line), get the Aggro Line.

If you are a beginner, also the Baseline might be a reasonable choice as it is easier to learn on and suitable for tricks as well.
